We are now able to take calls for housing repairs.
Following the relaxation by the Government, you can make an appointment with our housing repair team. Appointments are available from Monday 6 July.
Unfortunately, due to the impact of Covid-19, some materials are still unavailable, meaning there may be certain repairs we are unable to do. However, we are confident this should only affect a small number of jobs.
Our priority is still to keep our customers and employees safe. We ask that when booking an appointment you inform us whether you, or someone in your household, has had Covid-19 or has symptoms of the virus.
Our staff have carried out new risk assessments for repair visits and will continue to follow the social distancing rules. We ask that you also follow the 2-metre rule while the repairs are being carried out at your property.
Click, not call
We expect to get a high number of calls reporting various repairs and residents booking an appointment. We therefore ask if your repair is less-urgent to email your request to our housing repairs team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Pleased we can offer this service again
Councillor Holly Whitbread, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Community said:
Safety is still a priority for the council and so we want to ensure that staff and customers comply with the Government’s guidance at this time.
We are pleased that we can offer this service once again but understand there may be limits to it due to material supplies. We do expect an increase in demand after three months of only delivering emergency repairs, therefore there may be longer waiting times for appointments than there normally would be. As ever, we will do our best to keep residents informed with any updates on their appointments.
