Epping Forest District Council
- Salary: £23,001 – 24,750 per annum pro rata inc Inner Fringe Allowance pro rata. (14.5 hours per week). Occasional weekend and evening working required.
Epping Forest District Council is seeking to employ an experienced, flexible and motivated community engagement practitioner with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills.
Based across various sites in the district, the successful candidate will be part of the Council’s innovative, multi-disciplined Community, Culture and Wellbeing Team. You will support the development and delivery of a range of sustainable, engaging programmes, projects and initiatives in order to improve health and wellbeing, reduce loneliness and isolation and enhance quality of life.
Playing an active role in supporting the Council`s successful Community Champions initiative, you will have experience of working with volunteers and building community capacity.
We are looking for a friendly and approachable person with the ability to build positive relationships and work in partnership with a range of stakeholders. Experience of fundraising is desirable.
