Cavalcade of Light

As part of Waltham Abbey Town Council’s Cavalcade of Light event, Epping Forest District Museum is having a late opening.

Join us for an evening of festive fun, refreshments, live entertainment, and a light display, before the town lights are switched on and the procession begins.

  • Where: Epping Forest District Museum, 39 – 41 Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1EL
  • When: Friday 26 November
  • Time: 5 pm – 7 pm
  • Free entry
  • All ages welcome

Pupils from Upshire Primary School will be performing classic Christmas songs and King Harold Academy students will be bringing their ukulele and guitar ensemble to perform in the museum garden.

This event is also a great opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping in the museum gift shop and, of course, look around the galleries and exhibitions.
