Holocaust survivors visit to Epping Forest

Short film telling the story of Holocaust survivors who came to the Epping Forest district as boys.

The Loughton Boys

The Loughton Boys is a project by Epping Forest District Museum highlighting the local district story of Holocaust survivors who came to the district and started their journey to new lives. The short film shows the parts of the project including a return to Holmehurst House where the boys originally stayed and the museum exhibition project.

Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for funding this project and all the partners and groups involved for making it happen.

Holocaust Memorial Day

The film has been released on Holocaust Memorial Day, the theme this year is One Day.
