Red warning for Storm Eunice

A red warning for wind has been issued for London, south-east England and parts of east England from 10am until 3pm for Storm Eunice.

Due to the severe weather warning all council buildings will be shut today including the Epping Forest District Museum.

Staff will be working from home and residents are reminded the council is only open for business by phone, on the website and by email.

People are being urged to avoid travelling if they can and stay at home when winds reach top speeds.

The Met Office has issued a red weather warning for extremely strong winds on Friday 18 February.
