Why join Together Stronger?
This programme is ideal for any adult looking to:
- Embrace a more active lifestyle
- Improve strength, mobility, and balance
- Sustain independence and build confidence in everyday activities
- Form new friendships in a welcoming environment
Participants are encouraged to take each exercise at their own pace. The sessions offer tailored support to achieve targets and give the chance to connect with other people who share a similar goal.
Building healthier physical habits
Councillor Kaz Rizvi, Cabinet Member for Community and Wellbeing said:
Together Stronger is a great opportunity for adults who want to be more active but perhaps aren’t sure where to start. Building healthier physical habits not only takes care of our bodies but helps our mental health too.
It’s a fun way to introduce new exercises or build on your own routines as well as increase your confidence and make new friends. Exercising with other people can boost your motivation and make the experience more enjoyable, showing we really are stronger together.
