A new partnership with multi award-winning app LoyalFree is part of Epping Forest District Council’s recovery plan from Covid-19.
Our district is the latest area in the UK to launch the LoyalFree app – a place promotion app designed to boost footfall and sales in the district by encouraging consumers to shop local safely.
The digital platform showcases local information for residents and visitors including exclusive deals and loyalty schemes, fun local events and interesting trails.
It’s FREE to sign up and businesses will benefit from advertising opportunities, customer insights and social media support. Users also benefit from being able to tap into the local area wherever they are in the UK.
Download the app before the end of October and be in with a chance of winning £150 worth of gift vouchers. This consists of a £100 Click It Local voucher to spend in local stores and a £50 M&S e-gift card. The in-app competition can be entered with just one click every day for even more chances to win!
Vibrant market towns
Cllr John Philip, Portfolio Holder for Finance and Economic Development at Epping Forest District Council, said:
We are blessed with a variety of vibrant market towns that support employment and business and quality of life in our district. The LoyalFree scheme has worked successfully in other areas helping businesses to promote themselves and their offer to existing and new customers. However, to be successful everyone needs to do their part and the council is happy to play a full role in promotion, working closely with LoyalFree and local businesses to build on local success.
LoyalFree’s digital trails enable users to explore the town’s history, hidden gems and best independent stores. Already live on the app are the Local Markets Trail, The Explore Ongar Trail and The Rowan Trail – a walking trail through Lords Bushes and Knighton Wood near Buckhurst Hill!
Expand businesses digital presence
