Market reopening Saturday 13 June

Market reopening Saturday 13 June

North Weald Market is reopening on Saturday 13 June 8am to 3pm.

The government announced that markets can begin to reopen from June 1. A reopening plan has been agreed for the reopening of the market to ensure the safety of visitors.

Safety measures

We have introduced a one way system for entering and walking around the market. The entrance to the market will be located through the main car park

We will be controlling how many people are in the market at one time so you may be asked to queue at busy times.

The market has implemented extra wide aisles to ensure social distancing and hand sanitiser stations have been put in to ensure the safety of visitors.

Car boot

The car boot will reopen on Saturday 20 June.

Due to the changes required to open the market in accordance with the guidelines, there are only a number of car boot spaces.

Government guidance

Following government guidance if you feel unwell or are self-isolating please stay at home. Wash your hands regularly and avoiding touching goods that you don’t intend to buy.
