Latton Priory Strategic Masterplan Framework consultation
We would like to invite you to have your say in the public consultation process for the Latton Priory Masterplan.
The consultation runs from 17 November 2022 to 23 January 2023. The consultation has been extended to account for the festive period and the Local Plan Further Modifications consultation.
About Latton Priory
Latton Priory is a planned new garden community outlined in Epping Forest District Council’s (EFDC) emerging Local Plan. It will be located south of Harlow within the parish of North Weald Bassett.
The masterplan is allocated for:
- A minimum of 1,050 homes
- Primary and secondary schools
- 1 hectare of employment land
- 0.5 hectares for up to 5 Gypsy & Travellers pitches
- A vibrant local centre
- Community facilities
The masterplan will also feature extensive green and blue infrastructure to promote biodiversity and sustainable drainage along with a large Sustainable Alternative Natural Green Spaces to improve biodiversity and alleviate mounting pressure on the Epping Forest.
The masterplan has been developed with site promoters CEG and Hallam Land and is now being consulted on prior to a formal endorsement by EFDC. Your comments, views and input will help us shape the project as the masterplan framework is finalised.
