Apply for a new bin
The standard size bin for properties in the Epping Forest district is 180 litres.
Apply for a larger bin
Due to resources and staffing issues we are currently suspending any applications for a larger wheel bin. This may be reviewed in the next 8 weeks.

Assessments will only be carried out if access to the garden can be obtained from the outside / side gate.
You will need to have an assessment carried out before a decision is made.
The below list are just examples and there may be other requirements before an additional bin is granted.
- You will not be able to apply for a second food and garden unless you are already composting or otherwise managing the amount of garden waste being produced.
- The garden waste is being produced by the activities of the resident and not by the resident employing a commercial gardening contractor.
- Whether the amount of food waste being recycled is such as to compromise the capacity available for garden waste despite there being 52 wheeled bin collections per year.
