It’s round two of the annual canvass of electors, because several thousand people failed to respond to our first letter.
Reminders are going out next week to 3,700 properties who MUST respond to the YELLOW form – but haven’t done so yet.
It is essential you are registered to vote as it can have an effect on your ability to get a mortgage, loan or even a mobile phone contract! Even if there are no changes to your details you MUST confirm this or tell us about any changes.
If you have access to the internet, landline or a mobile phone then please respond online, by phone or by text as soon as possible and before 1 October at the very latest.
It’s simpler, clearer and faster online or by phone, using the two-part security code on the front of the form.
This year it’s even easier to access the website by using the QR code on the front of the form. Just open the camera on your mobile phone and hover over the code for a couple of seconds – it will take you directly to the household response website.
Please help us conduct this important process more efficiently and cost-effectively by using one of the automated response options or by contacting the Electoral Services office by phone or email. Posting back your form is costly and hand delivering forms to our office might save postage but means we still have to scan and process them!
It’s the law
By law, households receiving a yellow form MUST respond so if you do it NOW we won’t have to chase this up again. Please help us keep costs down.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Electoral Services on 01992 564411 or firstname.lastname@example.org
