Tenant satisfaction survey shows 7 out of 8 tenants are satisfied with their neighbourhood as a place to live.
7 out of 8 tenants satisfied
A survey of our tenants in February and March this year shows general satisfaction with the services provided by our housing teams and particular satisfaction in terms of value for money in rents and service charges.
7 out of 8 tenants are satisfied with their neighbourhood as a place to live (87%), while those living in Buckhurst Hill, Loughton South, Ongar and Epping Rural areas are the most satisfied.
Putting the findings to good use
Cllr Holly Whitbread, portfolio holder for Housing and Property Services said:
The results show us in a good light alongside other social housing providers.
Carrying out this survey is about involving tenants in developing the way we work and I’d like to say a big thank you to those who took the time to respond to the survey.
We’ll be putting the findings to good use by working with tenants to further improve the services we provide.
Anonymous survey
The survey was anonymous and carried out by independent market research company. Results showed that people are happy with the ease of dealing with our housing service at 91% – and this was reflected in the finding that 87% of tenants are satisfied with the services provided by our housing service.
Throughout the survey some good levels of satisfaction are found and the findings are an endorsement of the commitment of Epping Forest District Council Housing Service and its staff.
