A review is underway of 4 key housing strategies and policies, and now is the time to have your say.
The Big 4 under review are:
- Overarching housing strategy (pdf 734KB)
- Allocations scheme (pdf 228KB)
- Tenancy policy (pdf 295KB)
- Homelessness and rough sleeping strategy (pdf 461KB)
When complete and approved by Cabinet, publication will follow around Spring 2022.
Have your say through our consultation
We are inviting everyone with an interest in housing in the district to take part in the 2-stage consultation process.
Stage 1 – Initial views
This is a simple online survey to capture initial views on the key priorities for the Big 4 housing reviews.
We are consulting residents and community groups, other public services, partner organisations, developers, businesses, the third sector and local charities. Staff and councillors are also being consulted.
The consultation runs from 20 July 2021 to 30 August 2021.
We want to hear from as many people as possible so please take a few minutes to complete the survey.
Stage 2 – Expected to take place in the autumn
Consideration of our detailed proposals and provision of a formal response.
All stakeholders will have 6 weeks to provide feedback on these proposals.
