Mass testing
Track and Trace heralds the next steps in detecting the virus – ‘mass testing’. The increase in testing will pick up cases that would otherwise have gone undetected, helping us in the fight against the spread of the virus.
Essex will soon be part of the roll-out of ‘mass testing’. The Department of Public Health are working towards establishing how these tests can be deployed to maximise benefit.
Self-isolation
From 28 September 2020 we are all required by law to self-isolate if we test positive for COVID-19 or if we are identified as a contact of someone who has tested positive by the NHS Test and Trace scheme.
