Epping Forest District Council is conducting a survey to better understand residents’ employment and career aspirations and desires.
The survey will focus on residents living in Ninefields, Waltham Abbey as part of the on-going project to improve health and wellbeing on the estate.
Take part
The survey is now open. It will close on Friday 29 September.
Residents will be asked about their career aspirations, their current level of training, what training they would like to do, and what, if any, barriers they face in accessing training.
Residents who complete the survey can also enter a prize draw to win £100 in Tesco vouchers.
Paper copies of the survey are available.

All information is kept private and confidential; no personal information will be shared with 3rd party organisations.
Training opportunities
The information collated from the survey will provide the basis of a new training and skills development programme for Ninefields residents who wish to participate.
Achieving goals
Cabinet Member for Community, Health and Wellbeing, Cllr Smruti Patel said:
The information collated from this survey will give the Council the knowledge it needs to provide more support for residents.
Our jobs and looking for work can have a huge impact on our health and wellbeing. The job market is constantly changing, bringing new challenges with it. Setting up training courses and giving residents more opportunities to develop their skills or discover new ones, could help in giving someone the confidence they need to achieve their goals.
