Get your entries in NOW for our photography competition
There’s just over a month left to get your entries in for our Doorstep Discovery: Wildlife, Flora and Fauna Photography Competition.
Entries close on 30 April but with Easter holidays upon us it’s a perfect time to get snapping.
Wildlife on our doorsteps
The focus is on wildlife on our doorsteps – photos that really tell a story about this unique moment in history. It could be of birds that you’ve never really noticed before but now watch from your window everyday whilst working, or a fox that has become increasingly bold as there’s not so much litter in the streets.
There are three categories:
• 10 Years and Under
• 11-18 Years,
• Adults (19 Years+)
Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition
The Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition was due to be exhibited at Epping Forest District Museum this Spring but had to be postponed due to Covid restrictions.
So instead we launched our own photography competition on wildlife in our district. Visit Epping Forest Museum website for all the information on how to enter, size of photos, terms and conditions and frequently asked questions.
Festival of Culture
The competition is part of the first Epping Forest District Council Festival of Culture which kicked off last month and runs until 17 April, providing a platform for diverse, community led cultural activities across the district. To find out more visit the Festival of Culture website
