We’re looking for young people aged between 12 and 17 to stand in the next youth council election in March.
If you want to represent young people in the Epping Forest district and help make change happen, apply now to stand for election to the Epping Forest Youth Council.
Successful candidates will work on the issues affecting young people in Epping Forest highlighted at the Epping Forest Health and Wellbeing Youth Conference.

Councillor Nigel Bedford, Portfolio Holder for Community & Partnerships, urged young people to apply: “If you’re aged 12 to 17, care about what happens in your local community and want to give a voice to our district’s young people, apply now!”
Cllr Bedford ended with: “Young people are the future of democracy and our youth election 2020 is a great opportunity for them to represent their views on the issues which matter to them most. Not only will they learn about local democracy, be involved in exciting projects and make new friends, they will have lots of fun too.”
