1 year of Epping Forest Community Lottery
The 3 August marks 1 year of the Epping Forest Community Lottery helping raise funds for charities and initiatives throughout the district.
White water rafting experience
To mark the 1 year anniversary we are giving our ticket holders the change to win 2 tickets for the white water rafting experience at Lee Valley White Water Centre.
The white water rafting experience is ideal for anyone looking for an extreme white water fun and adventure. Splash down from the big drops, surf the curling waves and then catch your breath at the bottom before you do it all again.
Enter by Saturday 16 August for your chance to win.
By entering, you’ll also be supporting local good causes, as at least 60% of every ticket sold goes towards funding community projects across Epping Forest.

Vital funds for local charities and initiatives
The Epping Forest Community Lottery has made a fantastic impact in its first year, helping to raise vital funds for local charities and initiatives that make a real difference in our district. We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with a fun and exciting prize, and we encourage everyone to take part—not just for the chance to win, but to support the incredible work happening in our community.

Epping Forest Community Lottery central fund
Thanks to the continued support of weekly ticket buyers, the Epping Forest Community Lottery central fund has raised an impressive £3,000 for local good causes.
As a reward for their outstanding efforts, the top 7 organisations that sold the most tickets over the past year have each received an additional £200 to support their community projects.
The remaining £1,500 is now available as part of a grant scheme open to all registered good causes in the lottery. Participating groups can apply for a £300 grant to help fund a specific project or initiative that benefits their community. Applications are open until 17 September 2025.
Not too late to sign up
There is still time for other good causes to join.
Each good cause is given its own page on the website to direct their supporters to. Causes will receive 50p from every £1 ticket sold, with a further 10p going into a Central Fund that will also be distributed to good causes.
Organisations must operate in or serve the Epping Forest district community to be eligible to join.
