EFDC and Qualis launch new complaints panel

EFDC and Qualis launch new complaints panel

Housing, planning and environment news, News

Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) is inviting tenants to join a newly formed Complaints Panel, developed in partnership with Qualis.

Improving local services

We are looking for 10 EFDC housing tenants who are passionate about improving local services and want to share their lived experience to help shape the future of housing in our district.

The panel will work closely with EFDC’s Complaints Manager, the Head of Customer Experience at Qualis, and the Resident Involvement Officer. Together, the panel will review trends in complaints, assess how they have been handled, and evaluate the outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.

Shaping housing services

This is a voluntary role, with 4 meetings held annually at various locations across the district. The initiative supports the Regulator of Social Housing’s standards on Transparency, Influence, and Accountability, and is part of our wider commitment to increasing tenant involvement in shaping housing services.

Influence change

We are committed to listening to our tenants and ensuring their voices are at the heart of how we deliver housing services. This new panel is a fantastic opportunity for residents to influence real change and help us build a more responsive and transparent service. I encourage anyone with a passion for their community to get involved.

Customer feedback

We are looking forward to working with customers through the complaints panel to continue improving the service we provide. We know that our service gets better when we listen and respond to customer feedback and the complaints panel is a key way we can achieve this.
