We are thrilled to announce that we have joined the North Essex Economic Board (NEEB), which supports businesses and economic growth across North Essex.
Exciting new partnership
This exciting new partnership will help Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) support local businesses through new and innovative ways – providing more opportunities to help businesses grow and thrive. The economy within the district is vibrant and diverse, based in a region that is successful and growing and located between the 2 international economic powerhouses of London and Cambridge.
Allow our economy to grow
Councillor John Philip, Cabinet Member for Finance and Economic Development at EFDC said:
I’m so pleased Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) is now part of the North Essex Economic Board (NEEB). This new partnership will give EFDC the opportunity to share and develop new ideas with other local authorities. It will help us provide more support to local businesses and allow our economy to grow.
Vision and action plan
EFDC joins NEEB at an exciting time of development, where a new strategic vision and action plan to support economic growth for the county is due to be launched later this year.
NEEB Chair Councillor Marie Goldman said:
I’m delighted that EFDC is joining the NEEB. There are so many challenges and opportunities to address in the coming months and years, and we are far better placed to deliver positive results for Essex residents and local businesses if we all work together in partnership.
It’s exciting to see the NEEB grow in this way and I look forward to working with EFDC and seeing the contributions that I know they will be making to discussions at the board.
