Play in the Park kicks off a summer of fun

Leisure and culture news, News

Play in the Park has kicked off a summer of fun in the Epping Forest district.

Play in the Park are free activity sessions for children, provided with the support of our Town and Parish Councils, and logistics support from Qualis.

We have already had several sessions across the district, including in Waltham Abbey, Loughton, Willingale, Ongar, Chigwell, Buckhurst Hill, and North Weald.
The team have not been hampered by recent bad weather, with sessions taking place no matter rain or shine.

At a recent session in Ongar, children enjoyed making their own masks with stickers and colouring pens, playing with Duplo blocks, basketball and hula hoops, including lots of other toys. Dr Bike also attended to offer free bike repairs.
