Day full of activities and information
A Community Champion who volunteered at the Sheering event said:
Residents of Sheering Villages were pleased to have the opportunity to attend a very informative, stimulating and interactive event in their own village hall. This is the first time ‘Stay Safe and Well this Spring’ has been held in Sheering and, for those residents who have limited access to wider facilities and services across the district, they particularly benefited from and appreciated such an event coming to them.
An attendee of the Ongar event said:
An enjoyable day of activities and information. Thank you for all your hard work.
A resident who attended the Sheering event said:
The speakers were all so good. I learnt a lot I didn’t know.
A representative from St Clare Hospice said:
We spoke to a lot of people and had some meaningful and positive conversations. We were also able to help a lady that needed our clinical services, so I am so glad we were there to help her. It was a lovely event with a great atmosphere and a wonderful receptive audience who were there to learn and gain information.
