The West Essex Inclusion Project hosted their Christmas Party that brought together 40 children and their families to celebrate a year filled with achievements.
Variety of activities
The festive event was a hit. With funding from Shortbreaks, it featured a variety of activities including face painting, where children transformed into their favourite characters and an arts and crafts stall.
Entertainment was provided and kept everyone engaged with bubble play, lively music, and festive games.
Additionally, 2 individuals were recognised as Jack Petchey award winners for the creation of sensory first aid kits, 10 of which will become an invaluable aid for the project.
A special highlight of the event was a surprise visit from Santa, who had help from Epping Forest Youth Council members handing out presents to the children. The Chairman of Council Cllr Les Burrows and his wife, Vice Chairman of Council Cllr Louise Mead and her daughter, as well as Cllr Rose Brookes were all in attendance.
