A lottery player recently won £250 supporting Dogs on the streets in last month’s draw.
We discovered the Epping Forest Community Lottery through our local council networks and saw it as a meaningful way to raise consistent funds while involving the wider community in our mission. Right now, we’re fundraising to upgrade our dog sanctuary with shaded areas, cooling systems, and enrichment equipment — essential improvements as summer temperatures rise. These upgrades directly benefit the dogs in our care and bring peace of mind to their owners.
The lottery has introduced us to new supporters and increased our visibility in the local community. It’s an easy, impactful way for people to give back.
For smaller, grassroots charities like ours, the lottery is a brilliant opportunity to build consistent support. It’s simple to set up, well-supported by the team, and keeps our community engaged week after week.
