Dementia fair kicks off Dementia Action Week

Over 80 people attended the Epping Forest dementia fair on Saturday 11 May at St John’s Church, Epping.

The fair, organised by Epping Forests Dementia Friendly Community group in partnership with Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) and Epping Team Ministry, provided information, advice and support for people affected by dementia in the district.

Activities and resources

The event kicked off with a ‘Singing for the Brain’ taster session and a seated exercise class with many local service providers sharing their resources and ideas throughout the day.

A great way to kick off Dementia Action Week
