Over 80 people attended the Epping Forest dementia fair on Saturday 11 May at St John’s Church, Epping.
The fair, organised by Epping Forests Dementia Friendly Community group in partnership with Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) and Epping Team Ministry, provided information, advice and support for people affected by dementia in the district.
Activities and resources
The event kicked off with a ‘Singing for the Brain’ taster session and a seated exercise class with many local service providers sharing their resources and ideas throughout the day.

A great way to kick off Dementia Action Week

Saturday’s event provided a fantastic opportunity for local residents impacted by dementia to discover the essential services offered in the district. Those involved were thrilled to provide information, guidance, and direct assistance to many individuals. The event marked a successful start to Dementia Action Week, and we are excited to host similar events in the future.
