Good causes of all shapes and sizes are invited to a special event to become part of the Epping Forest Community Lottery and secure their chance to get a portion of the ticket proceeds.

- Register your place online (maximum of 5 people per organisation)
Organisations must operate in or serve the Epping Forest district community to be eligible to join. Good causes will receive 50p from every £1 ticket.
There will be refreshments, lots of information and plenty of opportunities to learn more about how to get involved.
Play the lottery
Following this event, tickets for Epping Forest Community Lottery will go on sale on Tuesday 2 July for the first draw on Saturday 3 August.
It is a chance for residents and visitors to the district to support local charities and good causes and get the chance to win cash prizes.
Tickets cost just £1 per ticket. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with the top prize of £25,000. Other prizes range from £25 to £2,000. Players will be able to purchase tickets online and support the good cause of their choice.
50% of the ticket proceeds from the community lottery will go to charities, voluntary organisations and other not-for-profit groups across the district. A further 10% from each ticket will go to a central fund to cover running costs and the balance will be used for other good causes in the community

Fantastic initiative to help local groups

This is a fantastic initiative to help local good causes. The money raised from the Epping Forest Community Lottery is going to make a huge difference to the community.
We are encouraging all charities and community groups to come to the Good Cause Launch Event and start fundraising with our lottery. Each ticket sold means more funding for local groups and charities who do such fantastic work in our community and any winnings can be donated by players to their chosen charity if they want.
