Food business operators are required by law to ensure that food handlers receive appropriate supervision and instruction / training in food hygiene in line with their work activity and enable them to handle food safely.

The Foundation in Food Safety Certificate
We provide the nationally recognised Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, Foundation in Food Safety Certificate. This is equivalent to the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Our courses are delivered by experienced Environmental Health Officers (EHO’s) who visit catering businesses on a daily basis. There are online courses available but a learning environment with new and experienced caterers and experienced EHO’s ensures a broader learning outcome. As a result, we achieve very high pass rates.
