There are different ways to pay your house and garage rent and options for spreading the cost.
Paying your house and garage rent
You will need your house or garage rent account number.
Paying your housing or garage rent by Direct Debit is a quick, easy and secure way of paying your bill without the worry of not paying on time.
You can choose what date you would like to pay and the frequency of your Direct Debit.
You can choose to pay:
- Weekly
- Fortnightly
- 4-weekly
- Monthly
How to apply for a Direct Debit
There are 2 ways:
- Complete the docx form electronically and email IncomeRecovery@eppingforestdc.gov.uk or print the completed form and post it to the address on the form. The docx form will open with any compatible viewer. If you experience any problems with the form please email us at the above email address
- Print and complete the pdf form and post it to the address on the form

Garage rent
Contact your bank to set up a standing order. They will need our bank details and your tenancy reference number.
Call 01992 564600, our 24-hour automated telephone payment service. You will need a debit card and your tenancy reference number.
To pay by SMS text message you need to register your details online at www.allpayments.net. You will need:
- A debit card
- Your mobile number
- Your email address
- Your tenancy reference number
Once registered text the amount you want to pay to 81025. You will be sent a text to confirm your payment has been processed.
You will need an Allpay payment card to pay your rent at a Post Office or PayPoint store. Contact our Income Recovery Team on 01992 564545 if you don’t have an Allpay payment card.
