We are a Disability Confident committed employer which means that we will guarantee an interview to disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria of the job profile and person specification document.
Disability is defined in the Equality Act 2010 as a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long term negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities.
- Substantial is more than minor or trivial eg. it takes much longer than it usually would to complete a daily task like getting dressed
- Long term means 12 months or more eg. a breathing condition that develops as a result of a lung infection

CV and supporting statement
The supporting statement section is the most important part of your application, it is therefore essential that you take the time to carefully plan out its contents.
We recommend that you download and have available the job pack and personal specification so that you can design your statement to demonstrate that you are the person we need in this role.
Please refer to the application form guidance for information about using the STAR method to design your statement
References
You will need to provide details of 2 referees, one of who must be from your current employer. If you have been with your current employer for longer than 5 years, then you need only provide details of 1 referee.
We advise that you do let your referee know that you have added their details to your application. If you are the successful candidate, we will contact your referees when you have accepted our provisional offer of employment to you.
Please double check the email address of your referee as this is the method we will use to contact them.
