The Ninefields Youth Group embarked on a summer adventure, courtesy of the Community Access Fund from Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
On August 2, the young participants had an adrenaline-filled day at the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
White water rafting
The day started with a morning of rafting, where the young people experienced the thrill of white water rafting followed by an afternoon challenge of the water wipeout inflatables.
Excitement and challenges
Cllr Sam Kane, Customer and Corporate Support Services Portfolio Holder said:
It was a day filled with excitement and challenges for Ninefields Youth Group members who demonstrated remarkable resilience and enthusiasm. We are incredibly grateful to the Community Access Fund and the Safer Streets funding for making this experience possible.
