Ongar Town Council Neighbourhood Plan examination

Epping Forest District Council in consultation with Ongar Town Council have appointed Ann Skippers BSc (Hons) MRTPI as examiner of the Ongar Neighbourhood Plan. All necessary information will be sent to the examiner, and once this has been reviewed a timetable and method for the examination will be determined.

Examiner’s report

Following submission, the Ongar Draft Neighbourhood Plan has now been considered by an independent Examiner who provided her report on 13 May 2022.

The Examiner has concluded that subject to a number of recommended change, the plan meets the basic conditions required of a Neighbourhood Plan and can progress to Referendum. A copy of the Examiner’s report is available below. The Examiner’s report and the recommendations will be considered at our Cabinet meeting on 18 July 2022.

Regulation 19 publication and representations

Ongar Town Council prepared and submitted a Neighbourhood Plan proposal under Regulation 15(1) of the Town and Country Planning Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (As amended).
