The Council’s Corporate Plan was launched on 1 April 2023 and will take the Council forward from 2023 to 2027.
What does the Plan include?
The Corporate Plan is a strategic document that has been developed to support Epping Forest District Council’s aims and key objectives.
It does not cover all services the authority offers, instead it focuses on different key areas including finance, economic, environmental and community.
All aims within the plan have targets and results to measure its performance and be reviewed annually by Councillors at committee meetings.
Communities and place
The Council’s key objectives are broken down in to 2 categories:
- Communities
- Place
As part of the Council’s overview and scrutiny process, both categories have their own committee for Members to review specific elements of the Corporate Plan effectively and efficiently.
Committed to our residents
Leader of Epping Forest District Council, Councillor Chris Whitbread said:
Epping Forest district is a great place to live, to raise your family and grow your business. The Corporate Plan will help us ensure we are listening to our residents and working with them when making decisions, developing policies, and designing services.
Regular reviews of the Plan will allow us to respond quickly to the changing needs of our community.
