Our new corporate plan has been developed to take us forward over the period from 2023 to 2027.
The current corporate plan ends on 31 March 2023.
What does the plan include?
The corporate plan is a strategic document that has been developed to support Epping Forest District Council’s aims and key objectives.
It does not cover everything the authority does. Instead it focuses on different key areas including finance, economic, environmental and community.
The corporate aims will have targets and results to measure its performance and be reviewed annually by councillors at committee meetings.
Stronger communities, council and place
The council’s key objectives are broken down in to 3 categories:
- Stronger communities
- Stronger council
- Stronger place
As part of the council’s overview and scrutiny process, each category has its own committee for councillors to review specific elements of the corporate plan effectively and efficiently.
Committed to our residents
Leader of Epping Forest District Council, Councillor Chris Whitbread said:
Epping Forest district is a great place to live, to raise your family and grow your business.
The new corporate plan will help us ensure we are listening to our residents and working with them when making decisions, developing policies, and designing services.
Regular reviews of how the plan is working will allow us to respond quickly to the changing needs of our community.
