Safeguarding policy
We acknowledge the importance of working with partner agencies to ensure that children have safe, healthy and happy childhoods and that young people and adults with needs for care and support are given the support they need to enjoy good quality of life and wellbeing.
Our safeguarding policy sets out our roles and responsibilities in working together with other professionals and agencies in promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults with needs for care and support and safeguarding them from abuse and neglect.
The safeguarding procedures outlines how all council staff, contractors, volunteers and councillors should report safeguarding concerns.
