Become a councillor
All councils are led by democratically elected councillors who set the vision and direction, and represent their local community.
District candidates

Parish candidates

If you are thinking of becoming a parish councillor and want to serve your local community, the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has general advice and information.
Guidance session
A guidance session will be held on MS Teams for candidates and agents explaining how the election will be run for the parishes and district council. It will be held at 7pm on Thursday 7 March 2024.
