Biography
My wife Carol and I have lived in Epping Forest for over 40 years and our children were all born at St Margaret’s Hospital.
I was elected as a parish councillor to Epping Town Council in 2011 and served as Mayor of Epping Town from 2016 to 2017. I have served on many different committees including the antisocial behaviour working group, I was also deputy chair of planning.
In 2018 l was elected to the district council where I have been a member of many different committees. I was promoted to the Cabinet in 2021 as a portfolio holder.
In 2023 l was elected to service as Vice Chairman of Council, and in 2024 l became Chairman of Council.
Both Carol and myself, are really enjoying the role, and we look forward to meeting residents across the district. I have already been impressed by the great work that so many of our local charities and organisations do to enhance the lives of those living and working in our district.
He has adopted Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust as his chosen charity.
This organisation, located in his ward, is a free life-saving service provided by helicopters and rapid response vehicles.
