Celebrating citizens who have gone the extra mile

Every year the Council Chairman hosts an awards ceremony to recognise and celebrate citizens who make positive changes in our district and go the extra mile for their communities.

It could be a good neighbour or charity worker, or perhaps someone who runs a club for youngsters or older people.

Nominate your citizen of the year

 If you know someone who make positive changes why not nominate them for a Citizen of the Year, or Team of the Year Award.

Nominees must be over 18 and live in the district to be considered.
