Personal campaign statement
I would like to apply to join the Epping Forest Youth Council because I am a passionate advocate for others and especially those who have additional needs. I have personal experience as my younger brother is disabled and I have seen how difficult life is for him and so many of the youth in my area who have additional needs. I want to improve our local area to make it better for everyone, and I believe being part of the Epping Forest Youth Council would be an incredible opportunity to empower the next generation of leaders and support local causes that impact us all. I have lived in Chigwell, Epping Forest all my life, I have attended local schools and currently I am in Six Form at Brentwood School. I have undertaken Duke of Edinburgh, CCF Cadets program and LAMDA public speaking qualifications, to improve my skills to be a team player, a caring and compassionate supporter of others. I want to be a part of the Epping Forest Youth Council to make a positive change and be a voice for those that are underrepresented.
