Apply for a new, replacement or repair to a bin, box or caddy

If you need a new or replacement or repair to a bin, box or caddy, you can do it here.

Your bins

The standard size bin is 180-litres. We do not supply a second green-lidded food and garden waste bin. Find out where to take your excess garden waste here.

  • Black bin for non-recyclable waste
  • Green-lidded bin for food and garden waste
  • Blue-lidded bin for recycling – only for residents on the blue bin trial
  • Blue box for glass
  • Kitchen caddy for food waste – only for new residents or properties
  • Kerbside caddy for food waste

Report a repair to a bin

If a bin is damaged because of normal wear and tear, we can repair it. There is no charge if repairs can be done to the lids, wheels, axle or lugs – the pins that hold the lid in place.

If a bin is beyond repair, you may be charged for a replacement bin.
