Collections from flats

Recycling is everyone’s responsibility and if you live in a flat or multiple occupancy dwelling, you can still do your bit to boost recycling in the district.

Many flats in the district now have communal recycling bins.

The recycling containers are labelled providing you with a guide as to which materials should be placed in each of the bins.

To request a free purple bin for batteries, textiles, and small WEEE items, call 01992 564000. The bin is for small electrical items, low-energy bulbs, vapes, household batteries, textiles, and paired shoes only.
