If you have a real talent or interest in the arts, culture and heritage, we would like to support you in further developing your skills with our new Creativity Award.

Epping Forest District Council’s Creativity Awards are open to every young person from the Epping Forest district, aged between 13 and 25 years. Ranging from £50 to £1,500, they are designed to support and develop artistic and creative talent.

To be considered for a Creativity Award, applicants are required to demonstrate their commitment to their area of interest and explain how the award will help them develop their talent. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are actively pursuing their area of interest – this can be through volunteering, education, exhibition, performance or other routes.

The awards are open to individuals and groups (a minimum of 3 people) who are looking for support for their creative activity. This could be a group that is already established (such as art clubs, theatre groups, choirs or orchestras) or one that is formed especially to apply for funding. This year we’re also opening up the awards to include heritage projects and all young people’s programmes through our museum service.

If you need help with fees for a course or for the purchasing of special equipment, if you live in the district, or volunteer at either of our museums, get in touch today.
