Channel 4 is offering 24 training scheme places to disabled applicants to promote diversity in the media industry, and to address the under-representation of disabled people in particular.
At the London 2012 Paralympic Games, 50% of Channel 4’s on-screen team were disabled – including 3 anchor presenters and many reporters.
For the Rio 2016 Paralympics Channel 4 are planning another revolution – this time behind the camera. So why not be 1 of the 24 disabled people they’re looking for to spend a year working on top sports productions in a variety of roles. Ultimately you could get the chance to work in Rio! Whatever your experience and whatever you’re doing now, if you love sport and want to bring it to new audiences, they want to hear from you.
The closing date is midnight on Monday 23 February 2015.
