Apology to residents

Councillor Will Breare-Hall, Environment Portfolio Holder said: ‘I’d simply like to add if I may an apology to those residents who’ve experienced not only a change in the day of their collection but also the week of their black bin collection and their recycling collection. I know that some residents have had to wait over 3 weeks for their collection as a result of this change and that is something we could have, indeed should have, communicated better to them.’

‘The good news is that after this short transition period we’re soon going to be back on to the regular fortnightly collection.’

Epping Forest Top 10 for recycling

Councillor Breare-Hall added: ‘I’d also like to thank residents for their continued commitment to, and their enthusiasm for recycling and for making Epping Forest one of the Top 10 recycling authorities in the UK. Residents can be rightly proud of their achievement.’
