We are hosting a free business breakfast to explore the opportunities for growing your business on ultrafast and superfast broadband networks on Tuesday 13 September 2016.
The Epping Forest broadband free business breakfast, sponsored by Gigaclear plc, will be held at Mulberry House, High Ongar from 7am. The event will also be a celebration of the progress that has been made, as part of the Superfast Essex programme, to deliver both superfast and ultrafast (up to 1,000 mbps) fibre broadband networks to our district.

Gigaclear in conjunction with Epping Forest District Council are proud to sponsor the Broadband Business Breakfast. We know first-hand the challenges faced by rural based businesses and how much can be achieved once connected to our network. We are looking forward to enabling more and more businesses in the area flourish and grow with the help our ultrafast network provides.
Superfast Essex is the broadband improvement programme co-ordinated by Essex County Council, working as part of a Government initiative to increase superfast broadband access across the county. The programme is aiming to ensure 95% of Essex homes and businesses can access superfast broadband (speeds of 24Mbps and above) by 2019.
Alongside the main fibre rollout delivered by BT, a pilot project, called the Rural Challenge Project, was set up in Epping Forest district to help bring faster connectivity to some of the more rural remote areas of Epping Forest district. This project, being delivered by Gigaclear, aims to provide more than 4,000 homes and businesses with access to ultrafast broadband (speeds from 50 to 1,000Mbps) by early 2017.
