Councillor Helen Kane, Leisure and Community Services Portfolio Holder said: “The Council greatly appreciates the work of the voluntary sector and encourages all local groups to get in contact to see if they are eligible to apply. The need for groups to receive funding is vital and our Council has funds available to support local groups. Our grants are a great opportunity to help others in our community.’’
