You get transitional relief if your:
- Property is in England
- Rates go up or down by more than a certain amount

Discounts for retail and hospitality
Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief Scheme 2025 to 2026
In the Autumn statement, the government announced that eligible ratepayers will receive 40% relief on their business rates bills for the year 2025 to 2026, subject to a maximum cash cap of £110,000 per business.
This relief will be available to occupied retail, hospitality, and leisure properties meeting the eligibility criteria set by the government. (more…)
